FEES

At portfolio4less.com we know that fees can be sometimes confusing and complicated. We have tried to make it as simple as possible to understand what fees (if any) you will pay as a client. Simply put, the minimum account size is $50,000 and under normal circumstances you will not pay any fees.

There may be other fees associated with your account depending on the situation. For details of all the fees that you may face as a portfolio4less.com client, please refer to the chart below.

Please note, portfolio4less.com does not charge the fees below and receives none of the money from the trustee fee or transaction fees. These are charged by Canadian Western Trust our mutual fund trustee. Advisors and dealers can use a trustee to expedite the daily transactions and paperwork. Due to the number of funds in each portfolio, it is not feasible to deal with each fund company separately. So by using CWT we are able to deal with one administration office instead of each fund company back office separately. portfolio4less.com has chosen CWT for their exceptional customer service and years in business. They are one of the top trustees in Canada and we feel confident in dealing with them. The trustee fee is not eliminated by CWT, instead portfolio4less.com will pay the fee for you.

Investment Account

As with registered accounts there are no trustee fees for investments accounts. Minimum investments is $50,000.

As shown above the typical portfolio4less.com client with an invested minimum will incur no trustee fees whatsoever, however should there be a need for an unscheduled withdrawal, transaction or transfer out, the fees below will apply.
